FORE-Greening India Initiative

Foundation tor Organisational Research and Education (FORE) .is venturing into the role of a facilitator for institutional large land holders, industries and corporate bodies interested in investing in tree plantation to meet their sustainability and carbon-offset targets.

Under our FORE-Greening India (FORE-GI) initiative, we shall endeavour to contribute by adding value to the government's objective of increasing India's tree cover from the present 25.17%, including trees outside forests, to 33% of the geographical area as envisaged in the National Forest Policy 1988.

This initiative aims to benefit farmers, promote gender equality by empowering women through local activities, and encourage community entrepreneurship. Tree Plantation projects, integrated with agroforestry production and tree-based entrepreneurship, are one of the focus area of the Government of India in this aspect and we are committed to this vision.This multifaceted approach not only supports environmental sustainability but also contributes to the social and economic development of the region, ensuring a more inclusive and resilient community.

FORE, as a facilitator, will create a comprehensive and effective plantation project proposals that supports the client organization's sustainability objectives.
